San Joaquin Valley RCIS
Public Comment Period Closed
On February 12, 2025, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) released the RCIS for public review and comment for 60 days, closing on Monday April 14, 2025. The Final Draft RCIS will reflect input received from the public during this period.
CDFW Substantive Comments on the San Joaquin Valley RCIS
On May 13, 2025, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) provided their substantive comments on the RCIS. With receipt of these comments, the RCIS development team can prepare the Final Draft RCIS, which will be submitted to CDFW for approval Summer 2025.

RCIS Public Meeting
April 24, 2024
The San Joaquin Valley RCIS team held a hybrid public meeting on April 24, 2024 at the Merced County Library and via Zoom to provide information and solicit comments for the development of the RCIS. There was a brief presentation to introduce the RCIS, followed by public questions and input.
